The Chartered Accountancy (CA) exams are professional-level examinations conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) to certify individuals as Chartered Accountants (CAs). .The CA qualification process consists of three levels:  1) CA Foundation, 2) CA Intermediate, and 3) CA Final.

The journey begins with the CA Foundation exam, an entry-level test covering subjects like Accounting, Business Laws, Mathematics, and Economics. After clearing the Foundation level, students move on to the CA Intermediate stage, which consists of two groups, testing their knowledge in subjects like Advanced Accounting, Taxation, Corporate and Other Laws, Cost and Management Accounting, and Auditing. Upon passing the Intermediate level and completing three years of mandatory Articleship training under a practicing CA, candidates become eligible for the CA Final examination.

The CA Final is the last and most challenging stage, covering advanced subjects such as Financial Reporting, Strategic Financial Management, Professional Ethics, and Direct and Indirect Tax Laws. The CA exams require immense dedication, conceptual clarity, and a strong grasp of accounting principles, taxation laws, and business regulations.The ICAI conducts these exams twice a year, in May/June and November/December. Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% in each subject and an aggregate of 50% in each group to pass.
