About CS Executive

CS Executive is Second Level of Company Secretary Course. Admission to the CS Executive Course is open throughout the year. Students who have passed CSEET (CS foundation) exam, are eligible for CS Executive registration and CS Exam is conducted twice a year in June & December.

Eligibility

Passing of CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) is mandatory for all candidates to register for the CS Executive Programme, except a few exempted categories of candidates.

All Graduates/ Post Graduates are eligible for registration directly to CS Executive Programme and they are exempted from CSEET exam.

Exemptions from CSEET

Candidates who have passed the Final Examination of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and/or The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) are exempted from CSEET and shall pay `5,000 (Rupees Five Thousand Only) towards exemption fee at the time of Registration to CS Executive Programme.

1. ICSI Syllabus Objective:
  - Focuses on principles, laws, and interpretation at the Executive Level.
  - Grouping of Papers in Group 1 aligns with:
    - Ease of Learning
    - Balance between Theoretical/Legal and Practical aspects.
    - Strengthening of fundamental concepts relevant to Group 2 papers.
  Advisory: Students are advised to prioritize Group 1 while appearing for the Executive Programme Examination.
2. Mode of Examination:
  - Combination of 20% Case-Based Objective-Type Questions and 80% Descriptive Questions for all papers except:
    - Paper 4: Corporate Accounting and Financial Management (100% Descriptive).
3. Duration: 3 Hours (for each paper)
4. Marks: 100 Marks (for each paper)

Passing Criteria

CS Executive Examination Passing Criteria: Students be declared ‘PASS’ in CS Executive on securing 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in the aggregate.
