How will the CSEET be conducted? Will it be conducted from Test Centres or Home?
CSEET will be conducted in a remote proctored mode, it is not conducted through exam centers. Candidates are allowed to give their examination from their home or any convenient location where there is minimal disturbance. Candidates are advised to use a Laptop or desktop, usage of mobile phones and tablets are prohibited.
Will the Viva Voce be conducted in Remote Proctored Mode as in the case of CSEET conducted from Test Centres?
No, the viva voce stands canceled after the CSEET exam 2025.
If I can pass CSEET but NOT pass the 10+2 (Senior Secondary Examination), shall I be eligible to seek registration in the Executive Programme Stage?
The answer is NO. The eligibility criteria of the CSEET clearly state that students must pass 10 + 2 to sit for the foundation level examination and clear the Foundation Level exam to sit for CSEET.
If I pass the CSEET, what will be the validity of the CSEET Result?
The CSEET result has a validity of one year. After the validity period, candidates need to sit for the exam again to apply for the executive entrance test.
What original documents are I required to keep handy for appearing in CSEET through Remote Proctored Mode?
The most important document is your admit card. Along with it, One of the Original Photo Identity Cards issued by Govt. Departments that can be Passport, Driving Licence, PAN Card, UID Aadhaar Card, Voter Card handy for verification by the Remote Proctors. Other than this candidates are not allowed to carry any other documents.
What will happen if I try to login after completion of 15 minutes of the scheduled time of commencement of Test?
Candidates are needed to login the test portal 15 mins prior before the specified test timings. No candidates will be allowed to commence the test after the first fifteen minutes.
Can I finish the Test before completion of the scheduled time of 2 hours?
No, candidates are not allowed to finish the test before the scheduled time of 90 minutes.
What is the passing criteria?
Candidates are expected to score 40% in each paper and 50% as aggregate in all papers together.
Will there be a negative marking?
No, there will be no Negative marking for CSEET examinations.
What are the items prohibited during the CSEET exam?
Candidates are not allowed to use any Book, Study Material, Handwritten or Printed Notes, Mobile Phone, Headphone, Earphone, Pager, Digital Diary, Calculator, BlueTooth device, Laptop, Palmtop, Smart Watch, Health Band or any other electronic device or gadget. Candidates are also not allowed to use Pen/ Pencil and Paper for the Test.
Are the candidates allowed to use paper for rough work during the Test?
No paper or pad even for rough work is not allowed during the test.
Will the candidate be provided with extra time if there are any sudden network issues from their end?
Candidates will be granted a maximum of 15 additional minutes to make up for any disruptions caused by power failures or network issues, provided they have permission from the live proctors. It is advised that candidates ensure their laptops are fully charged or that their desktops are connected to a UPS in advance.
What is the procedure followed before applying for the CSEET exam?
SEBLite Download and Installation: Candidates must download and install SEBLite (Safe Exam Browser) using the link provided via email, preferably before the mock test. SEBLite should not be uninstalled until the completion of the CSEET.
Login Credentials: Candidates should log in using the credentials sent to them via email and SMS before the test.
Identity Verification: At the start of each session, candidates will undergo identity verification at two levels:
Level 1: A facial photo will be captured. During the test, an AI tool will continuously monitor the candidate’s image for any discrepancies compared to the initial photo. If a mismatch is detected, the system will capture the anomaly, and a notification will be instantly sent to the candidate and the live proctor.
Level 2: Candidates must display their Admit Card and a valid ID proof (such as PAN, Aadhar, or any other government-approved ID) in its original form. The proctor will instruct the candidate to show these documents after logging into the test

How to contact the live proctor, if any candidate is facing a sudden issue?
Before the examination starts and the candidate logs in they can use their digital devices like phone or tab to contact the help desk. Once the examination starts, the candidates are not allowed to use any such devices, they can use the chat box or built-in mic in the system to contact the live proctor for any assistance.
How to contact ICSI for any help regarding the examination?
Candidates can anytime contact the ICSI Office helpline number available in their official website or can also use their chatbox.
Can the candidates use mobile or tablet for examination?
No, the usage of mobile and tablet are strictly prohibited for the examination. Students are only allowed to use a desktop or laptop for giving their examination.

Select the correct answer for each question, then click “Next” to proceed to the next question.
Use the “Previous” button to go back to the previous question.
Bookmark questions for review by clicking the “Mark” button; click it again to remove the bookmark.
You can change your answer before submitting by selecting a new option (radio button). Use the “Clear” button to leave a question unanswered.
The question panel will show the following statuses:
WHITE: Not Visited
RED: Not Answered
GREEN: Answered
ORANGE: Not Answered & Marked for Review
BLUE: Answered & Marked (with a tag)
Click the “End Test” button to submit your test after completion; this button will only appear on the last question.
Your “Test Summary” will be displayed once you click “End Test.”
Select the correct answer for each question, then click “Next” to proceed to the next question.
Use the “Previous” button to go back to the previous question.
